Nepal Police is continuing their search to find oxygen cylinders used in less critical areas. Police had started a cylinder collection drive in the last week of April last year due to lack of oxygen cylinders availability due to Covid 19 infection in the country. Oxygen cylinders stocked in various industries, factories, carpenters, gas welding, shops and warehouses have been collected and made available to the public.
According to the Police Headquarters, more than 10,000 cylinders have been collected so far. Lately, the number of coronaviruses has been declining and production has been increasing. Fortunately, at this time, there are enough oxygen and cylinders for the patients. In the last 24 hours, 78 filled oxygen cylinders have been collected from different places across the country. All the collected cylinders have been made available to Covid Hospitals on 3rd June, Thursday.
